The most significant event relating to the wider dissemination of the collection is the copying of the collection files by Igor Cașu, who had access to these materials in the spring of 2010, while he served as a member of the Presidential Commission for the Study and Evaluation of the Communist Regime in Moldova. He copied the files related to the Nicolae Dragoș case which were preserved, at the time, at the Archive of the Intelligence and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova (SIS Archive). He currently owns these materials in digital format. In 2012, these files were transferred to the National Archive of the Republic of Moldova (ANRM). Dragoș was personally present on this occasion and received a scanned copy of a part of his file. However, the ANRM did not provide open access to the collection materials. At present, access still remains restricted.
