Following the enormous success of "ostPunk ! too much future" and its accompanying catalog, Michael Boehlke and Henryk Gericke produced a documentary about the punk movement in the GDR together with Carsten Fiebeler. The documentary portrays the lives of two women and four men who are linked by having been members of the punk scene in the GDR. The film opened across Germany on August 23, 2007. It was screened at the 49th International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film as well as at other events.
