Since Handglide-gloves, a key accessory for breakdancing, could not be purchased in the GDR, "Hahny’s Break Crew" made due with what was available. They acquired safety gloves from a slaughterhouse, painted them in neon colors and coated them in silicone spray improvising a durable alternative.
