Vilniaus universiteto partijos komiteto kolekcija (1945-1986 m.)

Vilniaus universiteto partijos komiteto dokumentų kolekcija atspindi oficialią politiką ir požiūrį į dėstytojus, mokslininkus ir studentus. Universiteto administracija ir partijos komitetas bandė kontroliuoti ugdymo procesą ir mokslininkų bei studentų kūrybinę išraišką. Kita vertus, šios kolekcijos dokumentai padeda geriau suprasti lietuvių tyrėjų ir studentų kūrybines ambicijas, kurios ne visada atitiko oficialią ideologiją.

1969 Budapest student movement

The collection represents the 1969 student movement of the Faculty of Humanities of Loránd Eötvös University. Students from different social backgrounds cooperated against the official Communist Youth League (KISZ) based on the model of the student revolts of 1968, demanding greater democratic accountability.

Aleksandar Stipčević Censorship Collection

The personal papers of Aleksandar Stipčević (1930-2015) deposited with the Croatian State Archives contain materials exclusively connected to the history of censorship not only in socialist Yugoslavia, but also worldwide. Stipčević used these compiled materials as reference for several books.

Diósi Pál's collection

This interview collection contains Pál Diósi’s sociological research on prostitution. This topic was ideologically troublesome. The interviews demonstrated alternative lifestyles and ways of making money in a society which tried to deny their existence.

Documents of the Danube Circle's Association

The collection includes the documents of the Danube Circle Association, which was a non-governmental organization in opposition to the government’s project to construct a River Barrage Dam near Nagymaros (Hungary) in the 1980s. The Danube Circle movement tried to prevent the construction of the dam with samizdats, public debates, and protests. The Circle was one of the new types of alternative movements, which expanded the base of the “traditional” intellectual opposition.
